Qualifications Bachelor or Higher Degree in accounting.

Accounting/finance experience in a multinational company.

Track record of success within operational and commercial Finance

Strong technical finance knowledge, skills and experience.

Advanced English proficiency required

Advanced Excel user.

Agresso (preferred not essential) Knowledge / Experiencie (Skills) Knowledge of reporting and tax compliance requirements in Mexico and Colombia;

experience in other LATAM countries would be an advantage

High level of personal organization and methodical approach to job.

Ability to identify areas of improvement in internal processes and recommend solutions.

Ensure cost accruals / prepayments are prepared accurately and posted timely.

Interpret results and provide business and financial performance analysis as required.

Prepare the finance inputs for the monthly reporting pack.

Ensure the accurate monthly reporting of project performance in the Group’s ERP

Review project bids/proposals in line with delegation of authority.





Cost rate oversight to ensure correct rates are being used in bids/proposals and budgets.

Provide accounting advice to operations teams.

Backlog and go-get activity is analysed and variances against plan understood.

Assist Group Commercial Finance Director with preparing annual budgets.

Review progress on aged debtors weekly with Project team.

Review revenue and unbilled balances with project managers; monitor timely billing of work undertaken in accordance with contractual agreements.

Review weekly cashflow forecasts to be prepared by country accountants.

Co-ordinate with the Group Treasurer to oversee bank account management, ensuring cash optimisation, and proactively anticipate and communicate changes which may affect cash management.

Liaise with Group Treasurer to oversee and facilitate treasury requirements including bonds, LoC, guarantee requirements.

Ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements for each legal entity.

Reconcile the monthly financial results between the Group ERP and Local tax based accounts.

Compliance with group processes and procedures.

Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Ensure monthly payroll accounts are fully reconciled.

Work with Group Tax Manager and local advisers to ensure reporting and statutory requirements are up to date for all legal entities.

Annual accounts and audits, local tax and statutory accounts filing.

Liaise and co-ordinate with external accountants for the preparation of detailed filings.
