We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chemical Packaging General Manager to oversee and lead our chemical packaging operations.

The General

Manager will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in our packaging facility.

Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the chemical packaging plant.

- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality control, and logistics.

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations related to chemical handling and packaging.

- Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors to achieve production goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, R&D;, and procurement to meet customer requirements and market demands.

- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures to achieve profitability targets.

- Implement and monitor KPIs to assess performance and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA is a plus.

- Proven experience in a senior management role within chemical packaging or manufacturing industry.

- :last-child]:mb-0 mb-1 last:mb-0">

- Strong knowledge of chemical packaging processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.

- Ability to drive organizational change and implement best practices.
