**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct thorough interviews with clients to gather necessary information for case management.
- Perform legal research and document review related to workers' compensation cases.
- Maintain organized case files using document management systems, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, and insurance adjusters to facilitate effective case resolution.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to case progress.
- Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw for case preparation and strategy development.
- Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and more as applicable to specific cases.
- Assist in litigation processes by preparing necessary documentation and supporting attorneys during hearings.
**Qualifications**
- Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience is required.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation law is essential; knowledge of personal injury law is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management and organizational skills to handle multiple cases efficiently.
- Familiarity with MERUS CASE is preferred.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading abilities are crucial.
- Strong research skills for effective legal analysis and problem-solving.
- Experience with document review processes and data entry tasks in a law office environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
