Job Summary
The Quality Excellence leader is accountable for developing, improving and maintaining the strategic quality tools and deployment materials including Quality training and competence, the Quality Excellence Framework, the Aerospace Policy Management System and leading other key general strategic Quality initiatives to make an impact on GKN Aerospace performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Landscaping best in class organisations to enhance GKN Aerospace approach to Quality, developing and deploying strategies to improve GKN Aerospace based on the landscaping
- Develop and deploy One GKNA Quality Culture throughout the organization including the development of materials and tools to support maturation of desired culture
- Project manage deployment of key Quality strategic projects e.g. Quality Culture
- Develop knowledge mgmt. and best practice sharing strategy, tools and deployment approach
- Develop, maintain and improve key Quality tools to help assess and improve the Quality function
- Leadership for the deployment, maintenance and improvement of APMS
- Extensive expert knowledge of Quality in Aerospace including industry standards, Quality systems and Quality tools
