Wholesale Payments Direct is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Underwriting & Sales Support
Specialist to join our team. This is a high-energy, phone-heavy role that serves as the crucial bridge
between our merchants, sales representatives, and the underwriting team.

**Responsibilities**:
- Proactive Outreach: Make a high volume of daily phone calls to merchants, sales
representatives, and internal teams to gather missing documentation, clarify information, and
speed up the approval process.
- Sales Support: Act as a dedicated support resource for the sales team, helping them navigate
underwriting conditions to get their merchants boarded quickly.

**Qualifications**:
- Strong Phone Presence: Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone
with a professional, persuasive, and helpful demeanor.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the
ability to clearly explain complex underwriting requests.
- Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to
catch discrepancies early.
- Fast-Paced Execution: Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage a heavy pipeline of
- Previous experience in a phone-heavy role, customer support, sales support, or merchant
services is highly preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot) is a major plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of merchant processing, payment processing, or credit card underwriting.
- Experience reviewing business documentation, tax documents, and bank statements.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and fraud prevention.
Pay: From $120.00 per hour
