Imara is an AI implementation consultancy. We help companies go from "we know AI matters" to "AI is running in our business" in 30-day sprints. The deliverable is always a working system, never a strategy deck.
We build sales intelligence engines, business development automation, CRM integrations, outbound pipelines, and operational AI systems for clients across professional services, healthcare, and technology. Our founder has 20+ years of experience scaling companies and building marketing and growth engines at the enterprise level. We’re a small, fast-moving team based in Monterrey.
**Position Overview**
You’ll work directly with the founder as a technical operations associate. When the founder designs an AI system for a client, you build it. When the outbound pipeline needs fuel, you run it. When a deliverable needs to go out, you make sure it’s sharp and on time. Imara’s bottleneck is execution bandwidth, not demand. The founder handles sales and client strategy. You handle making things work.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **System Building and Maintenance**: Set up and manage automation workflows (n8n, Make), API integrations (Claude, GPT, Gemini), and Google Workspace automations. Build the first working version when the founder designs a system architecture, configure AI tools, write Python scripts for data enrichment and scoring, test API connections, and QA outreach sequences.
- **GTM Infrastructure**: Keep multi-workflow outbound systems running (covering sourcing, scoring, enrichment, outbound, and deal tracking). Load new contact lists, run the pipeline, score leads, and flag the best opportunities.
- **Operations**: Ensure proposals go out on time with accurate numbers, keep client dashboards updated, generate meeting briefings before each call, and prep materials when a workshop needs them.




**Non-negotiable**:
- 2-3 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (startup, consulting, tech).
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and no-code/low-code tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar).
- Can read and modify Python scripts (debugging and tweaking, not building from scratch).
- Experience with Google Workspace at an advanced level (Sheets formulas, Apps Script basics, Drive organization).
- Has used AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) beyond casual conversation, prompts effectively, and knows what these models are good and bad at.
- Based in Monterrey or willing to relocate (Hybrid role with regular in-person time).
- Target profile: Probably 24-28 years old, studied industrial engineering, business with a tech focus, or CS with a business bent. Someone who figures out vague tasks, has used no-code tools, and can modify Python code.
**Strong Advantages**:
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio).
- Has built automations in n8n or Make (not just Zapier).
- Familiar with Next.js or modern web frameworks (content updates, not full-stack development).
- Has worked with outbound sales tools (Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, Instantly).
- Experience implementing or configuring Odoo.
