Position Overview
EOSOL Group is seeking a Material Manager to support a utility-scale wind project in Canada, working closely with Nordex project teams.
The Material Manager will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, inventory control, distribution, and tracking of wind turbine components, tools, consumables, and construction materials throughout the project lifecycle.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring material availability, minimizing delays, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all site material logistics and inventory activities.
Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking systems.
Monitor stock levels and forecast material requirements.
Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, logistics providers, and project teams.
Verify material compliance with project specifications and purchase orders.
Track critical components, including:
Wind turbine components
Electrical equipment
Mechanical materials
Consumables and spare parts
Prepare inventory and material status reports.
Support audits and material reconciliation activities.
Coordinate with Site Management, Construction, Commissioning, and Logistics teams.
Ensure proper storage conditions and preservation requirements are maintained.
Monitor material shortages and proactively mitigate supply risks.
Requirements:
Education Degree or diploma in:
Supply Chain Management
Logistics
Engineering
Business Administration
Related field
Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in:
Material Management
Warehouse Management
Logistics Coordination
Inventory Control
Renewable energy, wind, construction, or industrial project experience preferred.
Previous experience on Nordex projects is highly desirable.
Technical Skills Inventory management systems.
ERP platforms (SAP preferred).
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
Material tracking and logistics coordination.
Knowledge of construction site material management processes.
Languages English required.
French is considered an asset.
