**Your New Role**
The Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) oversees and grows the entire portfolio of Warner Bros Discovery television businesses, including worldwide production, traditional and digital distribution, and broadcasting. The WBTVG division produces live-action dramas and comedies, animated series, and unscripted & alternative programming for traditional broadcast networks, cable channels and the first-run syndication marketplace, as well as for subscription/on-demand platforms and digital media outlets.
Duties include general ledger stewardship, month end closing and reporting, consolidation of presente results and preparation and review of all financial statements, by title reporting, footnotes, and disclosures. Duties also include Film Cost entries, Footnote and Supplemental schedule preparation, balance sheet account reconciliation review,
and working with the offshore teams in India, and onshore trams in the US, Business Unit Finance, and Consolidated Financial Reporting group in support of the closing process.
**You Role Accountabilities**
- _ TV Production (TVP), Alloy, Theater Ventures (ThV), WB Animation (WBA) and Digital Networks Group (DNG):_
Support day-to-day general accounting and reporting activities.
Process and maintain Minor Trust
Monthly Billing of WWTVM to International Conventions & Domestic’s First Run JEs, Co-Op accrual /Station Summit Billing
Prepare weekly Cast and Crew and WWTV Marketing payroll.
Invoice coding
Request new MPMs and Shield projects to SAP IO creation.
Purchase Order Maintenance (shopping carts & PO log).
- _ TV Production (TVP), Alloy, Theater Ventures (ThV), WB Animation (WBA) and Digital Networks Group (DNG)_Responsible for certain month & quarter end close activities such as:
Pro-active planning by establishing and ensuring the assigned tasks timelines and accuracy for the month end close process; ensuring the activities are in compliance with SOX key controls.
Review Monthly Intercompany Reconciliation
Review Cadency Account Reconciliations Prepare Insurance claim Accrual Prepare Term Deal Commitment Schedules Prepare Producer Bonus Report Prepare Footnotes, Supplemental Schedules, and other required schedules for TV Group.
- Make recommendations on process improvements and standardization to gain greater efficiency and effectiveness within the finance organization.
- Other special projects as required.
**Qualifications & Experiences**
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required and a strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX requirements, and relevant local GAAP as required
- CPA license (or equivalent) attained or progress toward attainment
- Highly motivated, analytical, proactive, and self-sufficient
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with people on all levels.
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
- Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
- Must have the ability to multi-task projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize.
- Must be able to adapt in a changing environment and quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Advanced English
**Desirable**
- CPA or MBA equivalent.
- Experience working with large amounts of data.
- Experience with SAP.
- Working in shared service and/or outsourcing environment.
