Overview:
**We're Hiring: Associate Manager, Security Operations in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico!**
Are you ready to lead the charge in operational security excellence? We're looking for an enthusiastic Associate Manager, Security Operations to oversee two close-by facilities in Ciudad Juarez.
As our Associate Manager, you will:
- Have direct supervision over a comprehensive physical security program
- Protect Associates, visitors, facilities, and assets
- Support and implement Global Security policies, programs, and standards

**Responsibilities**:
- **Security Operations**:
- Provides lead asset protection and security operations program oversight across the in-scope Shure Juarez facility portfolio as a member of the Global Security team.
- Manages the contract security provider relationship, including contract support, budget management, service expectations, performance monitoring, and reviews to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
- Develops site-specific training for contract security staff and serves as the 24/7 escalation point for the contract security provider.
- Leads the oversight and maintenance of security systems and equipment, while overseeing related vendor contracts and budgets.
- Directs security response efforts to protect Associates and assets during emergency situations, focusing on minimizing disruption, damage, and cost.
- Prepares written security incident reports, status updates, and presentations, for leadership.
- Coordinates security support for special events, business meetings, and travelers as required.




**Risk Management**:
- Conducts physical facility assessments and recommends industry-aligned, cost-effective security solutions that support divisional priorities and budget requirements.
- Partners with HR, IT, Finance, Legal, EHS, Operations, and Internal Audit to ensure security services and programs remain aligned across Juarez facilities.
- Analyzes regional intelligence and local crime data to proactively adjust security posture based on emerging risks and vulnerabilities.
- Supports Regional Crisis Management Team and Global Security incident and crisis management processes by leading the security response during crisis events.
- Establishes and maintains effective partnerships with local and state law enforcement and external security organizations in support of Global Security’s mission.
**Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures**:
- Leads the development, documentation, and implementation of security operations standards, procedures, processes, work instructions, job aids, and response plans in alignment with Global Security requirements.
**Compliance**:
- Supports the Company’s adherence to security related regulatory demands which include, but are not limited to, Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and Authorized Economic Operator program (OEA) by establishing and maintaining security protocols.
- In collaboration with Integral Trade compliance,



prepares all documents related to physical security and ensures compliance to achieve and maintain C-TPAT validation along with supporting internal and external audits.
**Security Training and Awareness**:
- Leads efforts to foster a security-aware culture among Associates, contractors, and visitors, by promoting situational awareness and communicating relevant security conditions, trends, and expectations.
- Develops training materials and communications to educate Associates and keep stakeholders informed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in both languages.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing or overseeing physical security operations and physical security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and visitor management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mexico security environment and risk mitigation programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local laws and regulations.
- Solid understanding of Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), and Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA), with experience in supply chain security within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong decision-making skills and an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office products
