The core function is to act as the senior technical authority for the integral innovation ecosystem and a strategic thought partner for leadership. This role establishes and leads the architectural vision and governance for all AI and automation solutions across GBS delivery centers, playing a pivotal role in shaping our AI-first delivery model by translating high-level strategy into robust, actionable architectural blueprints. The primary focus is to drive standardization, ensure solutions are robust and scalable, and prevent the duplication of effort.
Responsibilities.
- Lead periodic IT Disaster recovery exercises.
- Participates in DR Exercise planning process, execution, and post-test activities. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop the DR Exercise reports and gaps remediations resulted from DR exercises.
- Being available (On-call and/or stand by) during shift and after hours to coordinate recovery activities during a major outage or actual IT disaster.
- Be an advocate for assuring IT Disaster Recovery Plans includes the recovery procedures and application configurations needed to respond to a real outage or disaster for re stablishing the business operation in the disaster recovery site or alternate region.
- Perform gap analysis on DRP/BCP for inefficiencies. Propose and execute initiatives to close efficiency gaps.
- Develop business cases for the use of automation to improve DRP/BCP efficiency, reduce risk, increase resiliency, and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on Business Technology Resilience Team’s service Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Objectives (SLO)
- Perform post incident analysis disaster/outages for DRP/BCP improvements.
- Manage the IT Disaster Recovery Team’s data, metadata, and documentation.
- Lead /collaborate IT Disaster recovery initiatives to enhance internal services consumed by stakeholders.
- Participates in internal forums for the adoption of new technologies, best practices and methodologies for improving the services offered by IT Disaster Recovery team.
- Participates in the Continuous Improvement program to enhance the IT Disaster Recovery Process.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; or equivalent work experience
Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years
- Experience with IT Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity, with experience leading moderately complex technology organizations through actual and practiced disaster scenarios.
- Expertise in DR test planning and execution with focus on continuously improving the firm’s DR capabilities.
- Good knowledge of IT DR automation tools preferred.
- Strong process orientation,
including familiarity with ITIL’s IT Service Continuity Management process and agile methodology
- Certifications in current industry-standard.
- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority. Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
- Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.
