About the role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization while driving the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.
This role is adecuado for a proven engineering leader who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional people management skills. You will be responsible for guiding engineering teams, shaping technical strategy, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing software engineering team

Establish a culture of accountability, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Define engineering standards, best practices, and development workflows

Provide technical leadership across architecture, system design, implementation, and release planning

Review and validate technical decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Partner closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to align engineering execution with company priorities

Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions

Drive engineering execution, sprint planning, estimation, testing, and release processes

Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement

Reduce technical debt while improving long-term platform health

Promote secure software development practices throughout the development lifecycle

Support hiring, onboarding, team planning, and engineering capacity management





Foster strong collaboration across Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations teams

Proven experience leading and scaling software engineering teams

Technical Leadership
Strong hands-on software engineering background

Experience with software architecture, system design, and enterprise application development

Ability to review architecture and implementation decisions while guiding engineering teams

Experience ensuring software quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Backend & Cloud Technologies
Strong experience with:
Node.js and TypeScript

PostgreSQL and MongoDB (DocumentDB)

Redis (ElastiCache)

AWS cloud services

Kubernetes (EKS)

Docker and Amazon ECR

Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible

CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD

Amazon S3 and CloudFront

Frontend Technologies
Familiarity with modern frontend development, including:
React

Engineering Practices
Experience with API design and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)

Experience with Prisma ORM and database migrations

Strong understanding of DevOps, testing, monitoring, and production support

Experience working in Agile development environments





Ability to establish engineering standards, code quality, documentation, and development workflows

Experience working with third-party platforms and integrations such as:

Security & Enterprise Development
Strong understanding of secure software development practices

Experience with authentication, authorization, API security, data protection, and vulnerability management

Familiarity with enterprise software delivery and release readiness

Experience working closely with Product Managers, Design teams, and business stakeholders

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience managing technical debt, engineering roadmaps, and delivery processes

AI & Modern Development
Experience using AI-powered development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, or similar) to improve engineering productivity

Ability to review, validate, and guide AI-assisted code generation while maintaining engineering quality

Experience launching enterprise software products
