CIMMYT is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and service-focused professional to coordinate driver operations and fleet maintenance and repairs activities. This role is responsible for supervising drivers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation services,



and planning, coordinating, and tracking preventive maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles and buses. The position ensures that fleet operations are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and reliable, while serving as a key link between operations, vendors, and management.

Key Responsibilities
Driver & Operations Coordination
- Supervise and manage a team of drivers, ensuring compliance with assigned routes, schedules, service standards, and safety regulations.
- Control and monitor fuel expenses and fuel efficiency for driver-operated vehicles. Supervise toll expenses and monitor and control expenditures related to travel allowances and per diem expenses.
- Implement route optimization methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Supervise and ensure a balance between overtime hours and the drivers’ quality of life.
