In this role, you will join an established, high-performing engineering environment at Forte, collaborating across international teams to deliver scalable software architectures and seamless user experiences. You will be a core member of a product engineering team building an AI-native healthcare platform, using modern QA practices and AI-enabled tools to validate clinical operations workflows and system integrations.
As a Junior Manual QA Engineer, you will contribute to its success by demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, maintaining proactive communication in an Agile environment, collaborating with Senior QA engineers to elevate testing standards, and taking full ownership of defect identification and validation.
Key Competencies
- Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web applications, multi-browser setups, and end-to-end clinical workflows.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps while validating bug fixes to confirm resolution prior to production releases.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to review acceptance criteria, participate in Agile ceremonies, and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in Manual Software Quality Assurance testing complex web-based applications.
- Proven experience in defect tracking and test documentation management using tools like Jira .
- Practical familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and web application validation techniques across diverse browsers and devices.
Nice to Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with API testing ( Postman ), basic database validation ( SQL ), and Browser Developer Tools .
- Exposure to test management tools ( TestRail , Xray ), Azure DevOps , or SaaS platforms.
- Domain experience in Healthcare/HealthTech or prior exposure to AI/ML-enabled products.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate defects and collaborate across U.S. time zones (EST/CST).
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Motivated learner with an eagerness to grow within modern software delivery practices and AI-assisted workflow validation.
