Responsibilities
About the role:
The Fraud Controls Intern will support research to identify potential threats and minimize exposure to financial loss.



Your responsibilities will be to assist with data analytics to improve our ability to prevent, detect, and mitigate fraud; to improve automation to alert Fraud Analysts of potentially fraudulent transactions and to assist in drafting requirements, develop new tools and reports to improve Fraud Mitigation efficiency. The successful candidate will gain the experience to understand how to detect patterns, detect threshold crossings, and detect fraudulent anomalies.
In this role you will:
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, spot fraud, and eliminate suspicion
- Write reports, and document evidence, findings, and recommendations
- Determine existing fraud trends by analyzing accounts and transaction patterns
- Production of high-quality accurate reports
- Develop and maintain Fraud databases
