Responsibilities

Walter P Moore in Mexico City is looking for a Full Time Specialty Structures Engineer with 4+ years of experience in engineering enclosure systems, light-weight, long-span, complex and specialty structures.
- Work with a team of engineers and designers to design primary and secondary cladding solutions.
- Interface with Structural Engineering and Enclosure Engineering practices.
- Interface with both Clients and Contractors.
- Lead project development.
- Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of steel, aluminum, glass, cladding panels, or other miscellaneous enclosure components.
- Creating analysis models and interpreting results for Technical Designers and Clients.
- Assisting with construction administration tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
- Assisting with design drawings, quantities, specifications, reports and other project deliverables.
- Preparing technical studies and reports.





Qualified candidates should also possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated professional who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization and leadership when meeting clients and for project needs, are pluses.

Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in cladding design and/or specialty structures engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- S.E. in Structural Engineering
- Experience with Structural Analysis Software (SAP, Strand 7, GSA, Mepla, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Modelling Software (Grasshopper, Rhino, Revit, Dynamo, Tekla)
- Long Span Structures and membranes engineering experience are preferred
- Must be bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
- Demonstrated strength in providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills
