Responsibilities
Reviews and analyzes complex task statements, standards, specifications, engineering drawings and other documentation to determine engineering requirements
Designs complex mechanical, electronic, and electrical assemblies and systems using typical components
Provides technical expertise and assistance to assigned engineers, drafters, and technicians
Analyzes test data for accuracy and consistency
Establishes test plans and guides technicians in the collection of test data in a form suitable for analysis
Plans, coordinates, and leads an engineering Project with high and mayor impact to the business
Is responsible for monitoring and other activities
Develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities that other persons will perform
Requirements
University / bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Engineering, any specialty
Masters in science and/or certification is recommended
Generally,
Requires 6-8 Years Work Experience
Six Sigma certified, preferably
Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field, preferably
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures
Knowledge of specific business practices and software and software applications
Experience using medical device equipment, preferably
Able to enter data on spread sheet and database applications
Oral and written communication in Spanish
Advanced English
Core Competencies
Demonstrates expertise in engineering design and analysis, particularly in mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems. Proficient in project leadership, data analysis, and communication in both Spanish and English within the medical device industry.
