Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation in a full-time, remote capacity. Daily responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, assisting with pleadings and motions, and managing case files and discovery materials. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, reviewing medical records and accident reports, and coordinating with clients, experts, and external parties to gather information.
The Litigation
Paralegal will track deadlines, maintain litigation calendars, and support trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness files,
and hearing materials as well as settlement demand packages and case summary closing statements with medical lien resolution. This position requires proactive communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and staff. Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review to draft, organize, and analyze litigation materials.
Candidates should possess skills in Legal Research to support case strategy, evaluate claims, and prepare supporting documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Pleadings and Motions to assist in drafting, filing, and tracking court submissions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, including experience managing multiple cases, deadlines, and digital files in a remote environment.
Prior litigation paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation is preferred.
Proficiency with legal case management software, document management tools, and standard office applications.
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree, or equivalent practical experience in a law firm setting.
Salary = DOE Hours = 9 am to 5 pm eastern time zone
