About the Role We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead production operations at our fiber optic cable manufacturing plant in Querétaro, Mexico. You will lead a team of 45–50 people (shift supervisors and production operators) across a three-shift operation, working closely with Process Engineering, Quality, Equipment Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse to ensure safe, on-time, high-quality production.

What You'll Do

- Develop and execute weekly/daily production plans to ensure on-time delivery, with a plan achievement rate of ≥95%；
- Lead three-shift production teams: conduct pre-shift meetings, assign tasks, and ensure smooth shift handovers；
- Monitor output and quality across all production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions promptly；
- Enforce SOP compliance, first-piece inspection and self-inspection; drive scrap-reduction initiatives to meet annual scrap rate targets；
- Supervise daily equipment checks and coordinate with the Equipment Department to reduce unplanned downtime；
- Train and develop multi-skilled operators, establish cross-coverage backup mechanisms, and improve team stability；




- Champion Safety & 5S: strictly enforce EHS regulations, conduct daily safety inspections, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment；
- Build effective working relationships with internal departments as well as external suppliers, customers, and academic institutions；

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or Management-related fields; Master's degree a plus；
- 8+ years of manufacturing management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role；
- Fiber optic / cable industry experience is a must；
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools: 5S, SMED, OEE, PDCA；
- Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, budget management, effective communication, negotiation and conflict management, and team leadership；
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with PLCs, CAD drafting, and electrical schematics is an advantage；
- Good command of English, both written and spoken ；
- Willing to work rotating shifts in Mexico；
