Position: Remote Structural Engineer

Experience: Minimum 2 years of remote work for a US company in Structural Engineering

Location: Remote

Type: Contract/Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural components and systems for woodframe residential projects.

Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software.

Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for existing structures.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.

Perform calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs.

Review and approve structural shop drawings and submittals.

Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.





Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering.

At least 2 years of remote work experience with a US-based company.

Proficiency in EnerCalc and Bluebeam.

Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).

Excellent understanding of US building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
