Role: Quality Engineer

Location: Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico

Duration : 12 months

Role Summary:

Responsible for leading and executing quality processes within a casting manufacturing environment. Supports supplier quality, validation activities, and change management while ensuring projects meet company objectives and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop quality assurance plans aligned with AIAG Control Plan and FMEA guidelines
- Support and execute Internal & External PPAP processes
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) data
- Conduct document audits
- Update CAD/CREO/Pro-E files when required
- Coordinate and execute Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Ensure PDN, PCN, and Quality Plans are up to date




- Review GD&T; as part of FAI processes
- Communicate effectively in Spanish and English

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing (Automotive or related industry)
- Experience with AIAG and ISO 9001 standards
- Experience in casting manufacturing environment
- Must have Sand Casting experience
- Bilingual: Spanish and English

Preferred:

- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
