Job Summary:

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated R&D; Trainee/Apprentice/VIE-3 to contribute to innovative projects within our research and development department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience and professional growth in a dynamic automotive technology environment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of new automotive components and systems.

- Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results to support R&D; initiatives.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and design reviews.

- Participate in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis for technical issues.

- Support the integration and validation of prototypes and pre-production samples.

- Learn and apply various engineering tools and methodologies relevant to automotive R&D.;

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management.





- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and Valeo's product roadmap.

Job Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

- Strong academic record with a passion for automotive technology and R&D.;

- Basic understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.

- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) is a plus.

- Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is advantageous.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

- Prior internship or project experience in an R&D; setting is a benefit.
