Lead Manager – Homeowner AcquisitionPosition Overview
We are looking for a motivated, persistent, and highly organized Lead Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to consistently follow up with homeowner leads, build rapport, determine their motivation and readiness to sell, and qualify them before transferring them to our sales team.
This is a high-activity, phone-based position. Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable making a high volume of calls, following up repeatedly without being pushy, asking the right questions, and identifying homeowners who have a genuine interest in selling their property.
Key Responsibilities
- Make consistent outbound calls to homeowner leads and respond quickly to new leads.
- Follow up with leads through multiple calls and touchpoints to maximize contact and conversion.
- Build rapport and establish a comfortable, professional relationship with homeowners.
- Ask effective qualifying questions to understand the homeowner's situation and motivation.
- Determine whether the homeowner is seriously considering selling their property.
- Identify key information such as:
- Reason for selling
- Desired timeline
- Property condition
- Asking price or price expectations
- Mortgage or property-related circumstances when relevant
- Decision-makers involved in the sale
- Identify highly motivated and qualified sellers for the sales team.
- Accurately document conversations, lead status, notes, and follow-up tasks in the CRM.
- Schedule or directly transfer qualified leads to the appropriate salesperson.
- Maintain consistent follow-up on leads that are not immediately ready to sell.
- Prioritize leads based on motivation, timeline, and likelihood of selling.
- Communicate important lead information clearly to the sales team before transferring the opportunity.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult or uninterested homeowners.
- Meet daily and weekly activity, contact, qualification, and transfer goals.

- A good listener – You can recognize buying/selling signals and understand what the homeowner is actually telling you.
- Consistent – You understand that follow-up is often what turns a lead into an opportunity.
- Coach-able – You are willing to learn our process, scripts, CRM, and qualification standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation, telemarketing, customer service, real estate, or appointment setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls every day.
- Comfortable handling rejection and difficult conversations.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while following an established sales process.
- CRM experience is a plus.
- Real estate or home-buying experience is a plus, but not required.
What Success Looks Like A successful Lead Manager consistently: Calls → Connects → Builds Rapport → Qualifies → Follows Up → Transfers Qualified Sellers → Helps Generate Deals The goal isn't simply to make calls. The goal is to turn homeowner leads into qualified sales opportunities by identifying homeowners who have a legitimate reason and willingness to consider selling.
Performance Expectations
This is a performance-driven role. Key performance indicators may include:
- Outbound calls and daily activity
- Contact rate
- Meaningful conversations
- Qualified leads
- Lead-to-appointment/transfer conversion
- Follow-up completion
- Quality of lead notes
- Sales opportunities generated
