Expense Implementation Lead

Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and improving the Travel & Expense (T&E;) function within ABB Robotics. Acting as the primary T&E; partner for LATAM and Europe, you will combine operational expertise with process improvement and implementation experience to deliver an outstanding employee experience while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong Travel & Expense background who has participated in or led SAP Concur implementations, process transformations, or system enhancements within a global environment.

This role is supporting LATAM and Europe operations within the ABB Robotics.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Travel & Expense matters across LATAM and selected European countries.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance the employee experience.
- Lead and support Travel & Expense projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process standardization initiatives.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable T&E; solutions, reporting capabilities, and policy enhancements.
- Support and optimize SAP Concur and related T&E; platforms to ensure efficient and compliant processes.
- Analyze T&E; performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive compliance with company travel policies, expense management controls, and audit requirements.
- Monitor service performance through KPIs and SLAs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage complex escalations and coordinate resolution across global teams.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and Internal Audit teams to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Travel & Expense operations within multinational, Shared Services, or global business environments.
- Hands-on experience participating in or leading SAP Concur implementations, rollouts, enhancements, or optimization projects.
- Strong understanding of Travel & Expense processes, corporate travel programs, expense auditing, and corporate card administration.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into process or system improvements.
- Knowledge of SAP Concur, SAP, and travel booking platforms.
- Proven project management and change management experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience creating reports, dashboards, and business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.
