We are hiring a System Engineer for Lenovo's Cloud Service Provider Group (CSP) located in Monterrey, Reciente León.
What You'll Do
Work within a team of different levels of expertise and technical knowledge.
Review design documents (MRD, SPEC, etc.).
Identify and implement NUDD (New, Unique, Difficult, Different) test cases.
Deliver hardware system integration test strategy/plan/cases/report for storage server.
Effectively execute test plan for storage node, rack, and scale testing.
Research technologies for future validation enhancements.
Communicate with project and development teams to deliver information to the test execution team.
Plan and control test schedule and test resources (manpower, SUT, material parts).
Manage and track defect status (debug).
Perform failure analysis of bugs found during validation.
Identify root cause of issues found during validation.
Highlight project risks, critical defects and report test status to project team and manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
6+ years of directly related hardware design validation/test engineering experience, preferably within technology companies.




Experience with server/rack and/or storage relative tests (technical storage knowledge).
Preferred Qualifications
Networking knowledge of routing and switching.
Proficiency in scripting (Python and/or Power Shell).
Familiarity with storage/server test structure, stability performance test methodology, reliability test methodology, and firmware test methodology.
Knowledge of hardware servers from single node to rack.
Experience with server/rack management and control.
Understanding of hardware changes and architecture.
Excellent cross‑function communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Self‑motivated, self‑learning, flexible, and willing to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
