We are looking for a highly accomplished professional with strong expertise in tax and financial auditing, with proven experience in audit planning, execution, supervision, technical review, and the analysis and interpretation of financial and tax information.

We are seeking a highly technical, analytical, commercially driven, and results-oriented professional, with demonstrated experience leading audit engagements, supervising high-performance teams, and reviewing complex audit deliverables.

A proven personal client portfolio is mandatory, with the ability to retain, expand, and generate new business opportunities for the Firm. This position offers a clear growth path with potential participation in business results and/or profit-sharing derived from business development and revenue generation.

Profile

- Bachelors Degree in Public Accounting / Accounting. Professional degree and license required.
- Masters Degree or postgraduate specialization in Taxation, Auditing, Finance, Tax Law, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications are considered a strong plus.
- Advanced English proficiency.

Professional Experience

- 56+ years of specialized experience in tax and financial auditing.
- Proven track record in audit planning, execution, supervision, technical review, and engagement management.
- Previous experience leading and developing audit teams.
- Experience in Big Four firms, audit firms, tax/accounting practices, or other high-level professional services firms is highly desirable.

Technical Expertise

- Strong command of financial and tax audit methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel,



including database management, PivotTables, advanced formulas, data reconciliation, cross-referencing, and financial data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax (ISR), VAT (IVA), IMSS, INFONAVIT, and local taxes.
- Advanced knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA/NIA).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, corporate governance, tax determination and review, tax risk identification, and regulatory compliance.

What Will You Bring as a Senior Auditor at LOFTON?

- Strategic Planning & Audit Strategy: Develop audit strategies, scope, methodologies, resource allocation, timelines, and engagement plans for complex tax and financial audits.
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Audit Partner on strategic decision-making, portfolio growth, business expansion, and the positioning of the Audit practice.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in RFPs, proposals, commercial negotiations, client acquisition, and service expansion.
- Profitability & Financial Management: Monitor engagement budgets, chargeable hours, fees, billing, collections,



and overall project profitability.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable NIF, ISA/NIA, tax regulations, professional standards, and the Firms quality control framework.
- People Leadership: Lead audit teams, allocate resources, oversee engagement performance, provide technical guidance, and develop high-performing professionals.
- Executive Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients and C-level / senior management stakeholders, presenting audit findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Technical Audit Leadership: Oversee and technically review audit engagements from planning through completion, including working papers, audit findings, adjustments, audit reports, opinions, and management letters.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the optimization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement of audit methodologies and processes.
