Key Responsibilities
Improvesand casting / iron castingprocesses and production yield.
Troubleshoot casting defects such asporosity, NCU, core shift, over-grinding, inclusions, and dimensional issues.
Conductprocess auditsand ensure foundry process controls are followed.
Analyzeproduction, scrap, yield, and defect trendsusing data-driven methods.
Work withcomplex core assemblies, material flow, and production tracking.
Analyze machining feedback andPareto defect mapsto identify foundry root causes.
Lead 8 D, Root Cause Analysis, DOE, CAPA, and continuous improvementactivities.
Understandcasting drawings, machining drawings, CAD models, GD&T;, and specifications.
Support new productvalidation, process development, and production ramp-up.
Drive improvements inyield, throughput, quality, and production efficiency.
Communicate effectively inEnglish and Spanish
