Are you an experienced science teacher craving flexibility and variety, eager to make a positive difference in supporting young people's education?
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate person to join in the future development of a Secondary school working with Affinity Workforce based in the Swindon area.
Affinity Workforce Solutions are seeking to appoint a keen secondary science teacher to support our students and help support a growing number of well-established schools within and across the Gloucester area.
We are keen to hear from anybody who is looking for a challenge and available to work as soon as possible.
**Key responsibilities of the role**:
- Deliver lesson plans to ensure students stay on track with the curriculum.
- Record and report progress: Keep track of attendance, behaviour, and any notable academic issues.
- Manage classroom behaviour:
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work to the best of their ability.
- Familiarise yourself with school policies, routines, and expectations.
**To register with Affinity Workforce Solutions, you will need**:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS) or previous experience teaching science.

- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willing to put one in process (we can support with this)
- Previous experience within an educational setting supporting students.
- Ability to provide references for the last two years (can be a combination of professional, academic and character).
