Company: JoysonsafetyJob Function: R&DLocation;: Monterrey, MXRequisition ID: ****Joyson Safety Systems is a global leader in design, development and manufacturing of safety-critical systems and components for automotive and non-automotive markets.We are dedicated to delivering life-saving technology worldwide.Our team is passionate about the automotive industry and promotes lifelong learning, career growth and a collaborative culture.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and follow up on regional engineering projects, including installation, validation, and launch of production lines across different plants.Lead RFQ coordination and support the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) with manufacturing plants.Manage project progress through timelines, tracking matrices, KPIs, and executive status reports (weekly/monthly).
Ensure execution of FAT, SAT, and equipment validations in coordination with global engineering teams, suppliers, and local stakeholders.Oversee the integration of new machines and production lines, ensuring compliance with capacity, safety, quality, and traceability requirements.Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams to ensure proper line release according to global and local standards.Provide technical support for process engineers in capability analysis (Cp/Cpk), time studies, DOE, and process validations.Support the development and release of technical documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Layouts, etc.) aligned with IATF ***** and customer requirements.Monitor compliance with Special Characteristics (CC & CS) and customer-specific requirements during project development phases.Ensure proper documentation control, traceability,
and information management within internal systems.Prepare and deliver project status presentations and progress reports for stakeholders.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of technical information and raw material samples required for quotation, construction, and validation activities.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.ExperienceMinimum5 years of experiencein process engineering, manufacturing, or project management.Experience in theautomotive industry is preferred.Technical SkillsKnowledge ofIATF *****, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, RFQ, and SOW.Experience withautomation, PLCs, and traceability systems.Strong understanding ofcapability analysis (Cp/Cpk), time studies, ergonomics, line balancing, and plant layouts.Experience withFAT/SAT validationsand technical documentation.Advanced English (fluent)for general communication.Knowledge of automotive safety products (seat belts, retractors, buckles) is aplus.Soft SkillsStrongproject management and cross-functional leadershipskills.Excellentplanning, organization, and prioritizationabilities.Effectivecommunication skillswith a results-oriented mindset.Ability towork under pressureand manage multiple projects simultaneously.Additional RequirementsAvailability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) and does not discriminate in any employment or employee relations based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, marital status, disability, veteran's status, or any other basis protected by applicable discrimination laws.
