The Bilingual Medical Interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings.ResponsibilitiesProvide verbal interpretation services to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providersAccurately and effectively interpret medical conversations, including patient history, diagnosis, treatment options, and instructionsAssist with the translation of medical documents and formsMaintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standardsStay up to date on medical terminology and proceduresBuild rapport and establish trust with patients and healthcare professionalsRequirementsFluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written)Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and proceduresExcellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to different dialects and accentsStrong listening and comprehension skillsHighly professional and empathetic demeanorStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationEquipment Requirements for the Position:Computer:Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or newer) or Ryzen 5 ***** series or higher), minimum 4 cores / 8 threads, 8–16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD or larger.Connectivity:Mandatory use of a wired Ethernet connection.
