about the role

we are partnering with a leading integral travel technology business to recruit an accounts receivable executive to join their finance team in cancún.

this is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative, international environment while supporting the company's accounts receivable and collections activities.

key responsibilities

- manage customer accounts and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- follow up on outstanding invoices and perform collection activities.
- reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
- allocate incoming payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries.
- monitor ageing reports and proactively reduce overdue balances.
- ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
- support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.





requirements

- previous experience in accounts receivable , collections , or a similar finance role.
- strong understanding of invoicing, payment allocation, reconciliations, and collections processes.
- excellent organisational and communication skills.
- experience using erp systems such as sap, oracle, netsuite, or microsoft dynamics is advantageous.
- intermediate to advanced microsoft excel skills.
- english communication skills are highly desirable.
