Team Lead — High Performing Departments
Remote | Competitive Monthly Wage
About the Role
Fusion Growth Partners is seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee one of our high-performing production departments. This is a leadership-first role: you will not be hired to personally produce the work, but to manage, coach, and hold accountable the team that does.
Depending on your background, you may lead a team specializing in:
Video Editing & Motion Graphics
Graphic Design & Branding
Email Campaigns
Database Management
Social Media Content & Scheduling
Website Development & Maintenance
Digital Marketing Campaigns
Transaction Marketing
While each department has its own tools and technical demands, every Team Lead at Fusion is measured the same way: on their ability to manage people, manage volume, and manage deadlines. This is a management role first — subject-matter expertise is what determines which team you lead, not whether you're qualified to lead one.
About Us
Fusion Growth Partners is a business incubator and micro-venture capital company that invests in small service-based businesses and real estate professionals, helping them scale their clientele, systems, and profitability. Our "Partnership as a Service" model earned us recognition as the 813th fastest-growing company in America by Inc. 5000, and we now have more than 300 team members worldwide.
We operate in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment where every task matters and every day brings shifting priorities. If you're a natural leader who stays composed under pressure and knows how to get a team to hit tight deadlines without sacrificing quality, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists in your assigned department
Conduct regular quality reviews and deliver actionable, specific feedback
Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members
Set performance standards and hold the team accountable to them
Serve as the first point of escalation for time-sensitive issues
Production & Workflow Management
Manage a high-volume pipeline with multiple competing priorities and deadlines
Triage incoming requests and allocate work based on urgency and team capacity
Monitor workload distribution to ensure timely, consistent delivery
Build, document, and refine SOPs and workflows for your department
Identify bottlenecks and implement fixes that improve turnaround time
Quality Control & Standards
Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment before they go out
Identify recurring quality issues and address them with targeted training, not just correction
Maintain the department's standards even as volume and headcount grow
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Track key performance metrics and report progress to leadership
Work with project managers and other department leads to keep priorities aligned
Communicate risks and recommendations clearly and proactively
Requirements Required
2+ years of experience directly leading or managing a team — not just senior-level individual contributor experience. You should be able to speak concretely about hiring, coaching, and holding people accountable to deadlines and quality.
Excellent English communication
Experience managing a high-volume, deadline-driven production environment
Proven ability to prioritize and delegate based on urgency, capacity, and impact
Experience building or improving workflows, SOPs, or production processes
Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
Comfort making fast decisions without sacrificing quality standards
Proficiency with task/project management systems (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar)
Department-specific (varies by team)
Video Editing / Graphic Design: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and a strong grasp of visual storytelling and brand consistency
Email & Database: Familiarity with CRM/ESP platforms, database hygiene, and campaign workflows
Social Media: Understanding of platform-specific content strategy, scheduling tools, and engagement metrics
Website Development: Working knowledge of CMS platforms and front-end troubleshooting
A note for applicants: If your background is strong on the technical/creative side but light on formally leading a team (managing people's performance, schedules, and development — not just producing your own work), this likely isn't the right fit yet. We're specifically looking for people who have already done the people-management part.
Preferred
Experience managing a remote or distributed team
Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflow automation relevant to your department
Experience in the real estate marketing space
