Ohana Design Services is a vibrant, multi-cultural boutique entity focused on high-end residential resort design.The function of the position we are seeking is to manage all aspects of planning, coordination and execution of our interior architecture design projects.Using in-depth knowledge of design principles, concepts and best practices, we are looking for an individual who will create complete project plans and then manage the execution of the projects ensuring efficient, accurate, and on-budget implementation. Qualified individuals must be 100% proficient in English, have a design solution-centered focus, and have the innate ability to multi-task.

Role and Responsibilities:

Project Initiation and Client Coordination

- Collaborate with the Client and/or Vice President of Development to understand and define project scope.
- Ensure design agreements and Client proposals are fully executed prior to initiating the work plan.
- Attend Client meetings with the Vice President of Development and prepare and distribute updates to the project work plan as required.

Project Planning and Management

- Establish and manage the overall project plan as it relates to Interior Design deliverables and timelines.




- Adhere to established internal deadlines and monitor the status of all project deliverables throughout all phases.
- Manage and control project information and documentation.
- Procure, manage, and coordinate the storage and shipping of physical samples.

Design Development and Technical Review

- Drafting and modeling related to interior architecture documentation.
- Analyze, guide, and confirm space planning and design strategies to ensure successful implementation of interior design solutions.
- Review project documentation and perform redlines on construction sets (SD, DD, CD).

Coordination and Communication

- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external teams, including Designers, the Architecture team, and the Construction team.

Documentation and Reporting

- Document all aspects of the design process and file project data in accordance with departmental standards.
- Prepare physical and digital presentation materials for Client meetings.

Site Observation and Compliance

- Conduct site visits and prepare reports to verify compliance with project documentation and design intent.
