a well-established tier 1 automotive manufacturer is looking for a junior plant controller to join its finance team at its puebla operation. This is a confidential search managed exclusively by chester & black.

this is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong controlling and internal control background to step into a plant-level role within a global manufacturing environment.

what you'll do

- support plant controlling activities: month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- prepare and analyse management reports (plant report, flash report) and profitability by project
- contribute to cost structure optimisation and plant factor calculation (man & machine)
- support inventory valuation, cash flow reporting and internal control processes
- partner with plant management and cross-functional teams to support decision-making

what we're looking for





- degree in accounting, finance or related field
- solid background in controlling, with internal control experience highly valued
- previous experience as a plant controller is strongly preferred
- experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector
- advanced english (essential — daily use with regional and global teams)
- proficiency in sap or a comparable erp
- willingness to travel occasionally to other states as required
