Position Summary

Handlesthe reconciliations of the general ledger (GL), accounts and transactions. Analyzes and explains the variances, betweenPlan and Real of the accounts in the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.Coordinate in conjunction with the accounting manager month and annual close.

Position Responsibilities

Prepare thereconciliations of the asset and liabilities balances from one accountingperiod to the next, reconciling the General Ledger balances to the supportdocumentation.

Coordinate the period,quarter and year end close, prepare financial statements for analysis andreview. Analyzes and reviews explanations provided by partners.

Supervise all journalentries for month close (MXGAAP) and period close (USGAAP) in time that areprepared by the accounting analyst, and analyze and explain the variances inthe financial statements to ensure the integrity of the financial statements.Prepare any other journal entry for accruals, estimations or relaclassificationrequired comming from deeper analysis.





Creation andimplementation of accounting procedures and internal controls as required toensure all transactions are recorded correctly and timely in both generalledger systems.

Validate and provideinformation for annual statutory financial reports required by the accountingdepartment related with the externalaudit for US and MEX GAAP. Provide and give follow up to internal and externalclients regarding to daily activity and nature of the business by preparingreports.

Assists otherdepartments and stores with any doubts that arises due to Income or Balancetransactions for the Store Operations. Assists manager with special projects oradhoc analysis when it is required.

Coordinates and reviewintercompany invoicing, settement and cashflows. Prepares and analyzesintercompany transactios, prepares journal adjustmnets to ensure accuracy.

Position Requirements

Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
