Job Description

The Portfolio Sales Specialist plays a critical role in accelerating revenue growth and maximizing customer value by providing technical and sales expertise. This position serves as a trusted advisor to internal sales teams and customers, supporting portfolio selection, solution positioning, and implementation strategies.

Working closely with Account Managers and Technical Sales teams, the Portfolio Sales Specialist combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify business opportunities, drive portfolio adoption, support sales engagements, and contribute to successful deal closure. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, technical credibility, and a passion for business development within industrial automation and digitalization environments.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Expertise & Sales Enablement

Act as a portfolio specialist,



supporting internal sales teams and external customers with portfolio selection and solution fit.
Enable sales teams on relevant solution domains to help generate and qualify customer opportunities.
Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Technical Sales teams to position portfolio offerings effectively.
Provide technical insights, customer value narratives, and sales support materials.
Define and communicate compelling customer value propositions from both business and technical perspectives.

Opportunity Management & Deal Support

Drive technical sales strategies in collaboration with Technical Sales teams.
Lead the technical aspects of opportunity development, deal structuring, and sales closure.
Engage directly with customers to understand technical and business requirements.
Support value-based sales engagements and solution positioning.
Deliver competitive insights and articulate
