The Industrial Purchasing Manager is an individual contributor responsible for leading MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) and SG&A; procurement activities across Canada and Mexico. This role drives sourcing strategies, supplier performance, cost savings, operational excellence, and stakeholder satisfaction. Own procurement activities for MRO and SG&A; categories across Canada and Mexico.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, service, and supplier performance.
Ensure procurement transactions comply with company policies, purchasing procedures, delegated authority limits, and internal controls.
Assist in managing exceptions, urgent requests, and escalations to minimize supply disruptions.
Train and support end users on procurement systems, policies, and purchasing procedures.




Challenge existing supplier arrangements and internal procurement processes to drive greater value.
Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, metrics, and business impact.
Support change management initiatives related to procurement processes, systems, and organizational priorities.
Lead day-to-day purchasing activities and provide informal leadership, coaching, and guidance where required.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Significant experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
Strong understanding of procurement metrics and KPI management.
SAP experience is a strong asset.
