The NPI Project Manager is responsible for working in collaboration with the leadership team to lead cross-functional New Product Introduction projects for high-speed cable cartridge assemblies — managing design transfer through EVT, DVT, PVT, production launch, and mass production ramp, while ensuring adherence to customer and stakeholder requirements.
Lead NPI projects from design transfer through production launch, developing integrated project plans covering scope, milestones, resources, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and customer commitments.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Industrial Engineering, and Test Engineering to ensure timely and disciplined execution.
Lead manufacturing readiness reviews and ensure required deliverables are completed for each phase-gate, including process flow, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, tooling, test readiness, capacity, and training.
Maintain project risk registers and issue trackers; Coordinate engineering changes, scope changes, schedule impacts,



and configuration control throughout the product launch.
Plan and execute prototype, qualification, pilot, and production builds, confirming material, equipment, tooling, documentation, staffing, and test capacity are available before each build event.
Partner with Planning, Purchasing, and suppliers to manage BOM readiness, long-lead components, shortages, and material availability against the launch schedule.
Coordinate process validation, line qualification, equipment acceptance, test correlation, yield improvement, and production-ramp activities.
Serve as the primary program interface between the Mexicali factory, general product teams, and key internal stakeholders, providing clear status, decisions, risks, and recovery plans.
