British American Tobacco México has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance and Corporate Legal Manager in Monterrey.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, strengthen compliance culture across multiple markets, and support responsible business growth in a complex and dynamic region.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- In this role, you will deploy a comprehensive compliance programme across Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean, maintaining a high degree of awareness of BAT’s Standards of Business Conduct across the business and strengthening our culture of integrity, working closely with local, regional and global teams.
- Managing third-party due diligence and supporting compliance with sanctions, competition, data privacy and supply chain requirements.




- Ensuring robust contract lifecycle management in line with Group guidelines.
- Advising on corporate governance, including delegation of authority and powers of attorney aligned with Group Corporate Secretarial guidelines.
- Managing the review of allegations of violations of BAT’s Standards of Business Conduct and overseeing the implementation of remediating measure when needed, ensuring strong legal governance.

What are we looking for?
- Qualified lawyer or equivalent legal professional qualification (Lawyer, J.D. or similar; Master's degree an asset) with 8+ years of experience at a law firm and/or multinational company.
- You are a team player and adept at liaising with different business functions, specifically Finance, HR, and IDT, as well as with colleagues in regional and general functions.
- Strong communicator. You will drive awareness campaigns of business integrity and compliance across markets
