What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead cross-functional design cost reduction projects that deliver measurable savings while maintaining product functionality and quality.
- Facilitate idea generation and value engineering workshops to identify opportunities for design simplification, material optimization, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement engineering changes that improve product cost competitiveness through design enhancements and alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers, sourcing teams, manufacturing, and global engineering stakeholders to develop and validate cost-down opportunities.
- Drive change management activities to ensure new design solutions are implemented successfully and deliver the expected business impact.
