How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As a Mechanical Automation Engineer II,



you will be part of our Automation Team responsible for designing and building custom automation equipment for manufacturing CommScope’s fiber optic products. You will work closely with manufacturing sites to design custom manufacturing equipment to improve quality, increase capacity, and reduce manufacturing costs. Join a tight-knit automation team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Required
- 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Have experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD.
- Ability to travel to global production locations to support project intake, development, and deployment, up to 15%.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Produce creative concepts for machines and tooling designs to improve quality, cycle time, and reduce manufacturing costs.
