The Invoicing Team Member is responsible for the daily updating of shipment information in our billing system and working with spreadsheets for assigned accounts. Other areas of responsibility include daily interaction/communication with internal and external customers, using customer websites/portals, sending invoices, auditing, and other miscellaneous administrative responsibilities.

Specific Responsibilities include:
- Bill to codes: Validating customer name/address matches documents.
- Reference numbers.




- Piece count and weight.
- Currency.
- All stop charges and any additional charges.
- Dealing with customers and customer service regarding billing issues.
- Verifying correct information and change status to "Ready to Print".
- Cost Recovery, Billing/verifying additional charges through cost rec program.
- Rebills, submitting invoices for correction, reissuing new invoices.
- Lumpers, verifying lumper receipts, generating charge on invoice to customer.
- Customer Portals, validating charges align.
- Routine Spreadsheet Billing (monthly, weekly).
- Regular review and action on orders waiting to be invoiced.
- Following up with appropriate departments (Sales, Customer Service, Account Management).
- Running Routine End of Day Audits, daily, weekly or monthly as needed.
- Sending Invoices in accordance with established procedures.
- End of day and Month end posting to Great Plains accounting program.
