About the role

As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and controlled implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for Light Commercial HVAC products manufactured at Carrier Mexico. This role serves as the primary liaison between Design Centers and Manufacturing,



ensuring product changes are effectively translated into production while maintaining quality, cost, compliance, and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of engineering design changes through the ECN process, from Manufacturing Review through production release.
- Ensure products manufactured at Carrier Mexico comply with design center specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Review engineering drawings, product specifications, tolerance analyses, and technical documentation necessary for implementation.
- Validate and maintain BOM integrity in SAP/MRP systems, ensuring alignment between released engineering data and manufacturing requirements.
- Evaluate ECNs during Manufacturing Review and identify risks related to quality, cost, safety, regulatory compliance, and manufacturability.
