WE ARE HIRING FOUNDRY ENGINEER WITH CASTING
~ Some level of understanding foundry principles and problem solving – ideally sand casting and ideally iron experience
~ Highly motivated to dig into the details and drive solutions and corrective actions to current problems – porosity/NCU/core shift/over grinding/etc
~ Very fluent in English and Spanish – communication has been a challenge for us
~ Ability to conduct process audits to ensure foundry controls are being diligently followed
~ Someone with LSS background and understands complex process flow – we struggle with material movements/tracking and reporting of production – these castings have multiple highly engineered cores that all need to come together without flaw prior pouring




~ Someone who can take downstream machining feedback and quickly analyze/Pareto out defect maps and drive those issues to resolve in the foundry through techniques of 8D/DOE/root cause analysis
~ Someone who understands complicated casting and machining drawings, models and specifications – versed in GD&T;
~ Someone that is more than just a traffic director – really need someone who can dig in and “get into the weeds” and use data driven techniques to bring substantive improvements to yield and production efficiency
