Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Quality Engineer.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What You’ll Do
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for providing support to Reynosa plant with in-process and customer quality issues.
Perform regular visits to the customers and maintain communication to address any concerns.
Support Reynosa plant with implement irreversible corrective actions requested by customers.
Essential Functions
- Implements appropriate quality procedures for the areas of: Inspection Process, Final Audit
- Participates in the initial manufacturing process to establish effective means of inspection and control.
- Participates in the continuous improvement process for existing and future processes.
- Develops, submits PPAPs:
- Leads PPAP, assists and provides quality support to APQP to complete PPAP package to customers
- Elaboration of Control Plans and support on PFMEAs,
- Implementation of SCP Charts.
- Creation, implementation and control of correcting actions,
- Develop MSA Studies for equipment listed on Control Plans
- Assists with the implementation of quality systems (ISO 9001:2015, IATF:16949)
- Participates on internal quality audits (IATF:16949 and EQMS Policies).
- Participates on continuous Improvement and Error Proof projects (Green Belt Projects).
- Participates on APQP teams to bring product to market.
- Performs Layered Process Audit (LPA).
- Participates in Quality Gemba Walks.
