- Ensure 100% compliance with WHS protocols and conduct daily safety audits
- Investigate incidents immediately and implement corrective actions
- Lead by example in following safety procedures and wearing required PPE
- Productivity Management (Primary Focus)
- Drive achievement of key metrics.
- Supervise daily operations (inbound, sort, dispatch) during night shifts
- Manage delivery cycles (Same Day, Late Same Day, Cycle 2)
- Monitor real-time productivity and make immediate adjustments to meet targets
- Balance productivity goals with safety requirements - never compromise safety for speed
- Operational Management
- Coordinate with DSPs to guarantee route capacity and quality
- Manage labor allocation to optimize productivity while maintaining safe staffing
