The Interim Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s overall financial management and accounting operations throughout the interim assignment.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls, while serving as a key business partner to the leadership team and supporting sound operational and financial decision-making.

This position is adecuado for a detail-oriented finance leader who values ownership, structure, and operational excellence, with the ability to quickly integrate into a select-service hotel environment and ensure continuity of financial operations.
Qualifications

What You’ll Do

Oversee the hotel’s accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets, ensuring accurate and transparent P&L; reporting.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes,



ensuring alignment with hotel operations and ownership expectations.

Partner with the General Manager and department leaders, providing financial insights to support operational decision-making and hotel performance.

Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.

Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and daily cash positioning for the property.

Oversee billing, collections, credit processes, revenue reporting, night audit oversight, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with brand-related financial obligations, reporting requirements, fees, and standards.

Support financial systems, chart of accounts, banking structure, and financial workflows as needed to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
