We are seeking a
CAE Engineer
with 8+ years of experience supporting structural crashworthiness and safety performance simulations. This role focuses on developing and validating full‑vehicle and subsystem FE models, interpreting crash performance, and providing design recommendations based on correlation between simulation results and physical test data.

The idóneo candidate is highly proficient in crash simulation tools such as LS‑DYNA and has a strong foundation in automotive crash regulations and safety performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of vehicle crash simulations (frontal, side, rear, and rollover) using LS-DYNA.
- Build and refine finite element models of vehicle structures and safety components.
- Interpret simulation results and correlate FE models with physical crash test data to ensure predictive accuracy.
- Identify root causes of performance issues and recommend design changes to improve safety performance.
- Collaborate with test engineers and design teams to align simulation findings with physical testing outcomes.




- Develop, validate, and tune models for restraint systems and energy-absorbing structures.
- Perform injury metrics evaluation and crash performance assessments based on regulatory and consumer test protocols (e.g., FMVSS, IIHS, NCAP).
- Utilize CAE tools such as ANSA, HyperMesh, LS-PrePost, and META for pre- and post-processing.
- Document and present simulation results in client meetings and technical reviews. 

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience performing vehicle safety simulations using LS-DYNA.
- Strong understanding of crashworthiness principles and safety performance evaluation.
- Hands-on experience correlating FE models to physical test results and identifying model-to-test discrepancies.
- Proficiency in mesh generation, model assembly, and debugging.
