What is your role?

As a Test & Qualification Technician you will support product qualification, verification, and reliability testing for optical telecommunications products in a laboratory environment. This role is adecuado for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, follows procedures with precision, and can manage multiple testing activities while maintaining strong quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute verification, qualification, and reliability testing activities for optical telecommunications products according to established procedures and applicable standards
- Set up, configure, and operate laboratory equipment, including fiber optic test systems, environmental chambers, and related testing tools
- Document test results, support basic data and failure analysis, and prepare reports and laboratory records accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while supporting calibration,



preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities in the lab

Experiences/Education - Required
- Technical Associate’s degree (TSU)
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in fiber optics, telecommunications products, or a similar technical/testing environment
- Hands-on experience working with test and measurement equipment
- Ability to follow documented procedures accurately and work independently within established timelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory setting
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- English proficiency desired
