Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Automation Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North .





Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager , the Automation Process Engineer role will be leading a team and perform as strategic lead in automated lines development, testing, programming and optimizing automated systems in various mechanical and digital environments to help and improve processes, save costs, and achieve operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:
- Responsible for leading end-to-end production line operations, including line installation, setup, and commissioning.
- Expert in automation project phases and execution, with direct interaction and coordination with Program Managers. Accountable for full production line ownership, ensuring successful implementation, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Contact with vendors for new Machinery sourcing and purchasing.
- Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans
