About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead the functional design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions.
The consultant will drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives, support compliance with statutory and tax requirements, mentor junior consultants, and serve as the primary Finance/SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert across regional and integral projects and production support.
This role requires strong hands-on SAP FICO expertise, excellent business and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across finance, technology, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops with Finance, Controlling, Tax, and business stakeholders to define solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Design and configure SAP FI/CO processes, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- Architect and validate end-to-end integration scenarios between FI/CO and MM, SD, PP, and third-party systems.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams throughout development and transport cycles.
- Lead data migration activities for master and transactional data, including mapping, cleansing, and migration execution.
- Work with migration technologies such as LSMW, BDC, DTM, IDocs, or modern ETL approaches.
- Lead testing activities including unit, integration, regression, and UAT.
- Prepare test plans and ensure quality and completeness of deliverables.
- Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and hypercare.
- Resolve complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
